We’re thrilled to introduce not one—but two—amazing pups as our July Pets of the Month at Little Lake Pet Lodge: Zara and Nova Savage from Jacksboro, TN! James and Melissa Savage, owners of Tri-State Auction & Realty LLC in Jacksboro, TN, travel frequently for their business, giving Little Lake Pet Lodge the joy of regularly caring for Zara and Nova.
Meet Zara
Breed: Great Dane
Age: 2 years old
Zara first came to Little Lake Pet Lodge as a puppy, and we’ve loved watching her grow! Her first visit was unforgettable—full of energy, oversized paws, and wobbly little trips around the lobby. She would run full speed, tumble over her own feet, get back up, and do it all again with a giant smile. Today, she’s still just as affectionate and fun!
Zara is known for giving giant hugs, sprinting across the play yard, soaking up the sunshine, and throwing the most irresistible pouty face when she’s not getting enough cuddles.
Meet Nova
Breed: French Bulldog
Age: 3 years old
Nova is the life of the party during her stays. She lights up the lobby with her contagious smile, especially when she plays with the owner’s daughter. Nova is all about playtime, and she can’t resist a good nature walk or chasing after balls in the lobby.
She also has one of the best talents of any guest: she sleeps like a rock and makes it look so cozy!
